No local elections in Scotland and Wales
Elections in Northern Ireland and England begins earnestly as folks head for the polls for council and mayor. Already elections have been held for 248 English councils and all eleven councils in the Northern Ireland. It is reported that there are no local elections in Scotland and Wales, this is regarded as the biggest of elections in England’s four-year electoral cycle with more than 8,400 seats being contested by 25,000 candidates and a total of 462 seats up for grab in Northern Ireland.
