British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, in a recent address, disclosed that sporting events in the UK may resume latest next month June. According to Boris Johnson although the sporting events will hold behind closed doors, he is optimistic that the resumption of the football league and others in the country will boost the country’s moral as it will be streamed to the viewing public in different parts of the country.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the English Premier League has been in talks with the government concerning when and how the football league will resume again. It will be recalled that football matches were interrupted by the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic which hit several nations of the world, UK inclusive.
