Nigeria ranks 4th out of 54 Countries in workplace gender equality in Africa
The workplace gender equality scoring saw Nigeria ranking 4th out of 54 countries in Africa. Nigeria scored 50 points with a growth rate of 25% between 2008 and 2017 according to the statistics from Mo Ibrahim Foundation. 2018 Index of Africa Governance (IIAG) with data from 2008 to 2017, which is a ten-year period, was launched by the foundation during a live event.
Ibrahim emphasized that; women are key part of African development and therefore deserve more inclusion for economic growth.
