Some Governors deliberately fuel insecurity to gain security votes - Magu
Speaking at the induction program of the newly elected and returning governors of states in Nigeria, the acting chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu condemned some state governors for fueling insecurity in their states to enable them collect more money for security votes. The anti-graft agency boss also advised the governors to avoid using public funds to empower corruption by promoting insecurity on purpose to steal more money.
