Nigerians React to US Human Rights Violation Report on Nigeria

Human rights lawyer insists Nigeria experiences human rights violation as common to other countries

Nigerians have expressed their mixed reactions towards the condemnation of the US report on human rights violation by the Association of Nigerian Scholars in Diaspora. Human rights activist and lawyer Don Akaegbu spoke on this and explained that Nigeria as a nation still faces human rights violation in the country. Despite admitting facts that human rights violations exist in the country, Mr. Akaegbu however disagreed that it has become worse under the leadership of the current administration, nonetheless, it is not a matter that should be dismissed. The rate of human rights violation in the country, should be addressed by the government.
