Pakistan Court overturns the death sentence on Pakistan Christian woman accused of Blasphemy

Asia Bibi, the Pakistani Christian woman who was accused of blasphemy against Prophet Mohammed and sentenced to death by Pakistani Court has received pardon by the Court after being kept in solitary confinement for more than eight years. The Pakistani by the Pakistani Supreme Court overturned the death sentence on Asia. Asia Bibi was convicted of blasphemy against Prophet Mohammed in an argument with neighbors in 2010. The death sentence on Asia greatly polarized the nation of Pakistan as she insisted she was innocent. Asia who was not in Court to hear the ruling, reacted with so much surprise and apparent disbelief.
