Global audience pours out their hearts in profuse worship and praise to God for all His goodness and wondrous works.
The just-concluded Praise Night with Pastor Chris was a blend of insightful teaching, awesome worship, and quintessential praise to God. Many from around the world connected to the hosting arena - the Loveworld Studios at the Loveworld Crusade Grounds, Asese, Southwest, Nigeria - via the Loveworld Networks and various internet platforms.
The special night kicked off with a profound exposition on praise by the Loveworld President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome. In his exhortation, the man of God spelled out the difference between dancing to God and dancing to men. “You can dance to men in celebrating them; you can applaud them but you can’t applaud God,” he posited as he shed more light on the essence of perfect praise. The service burst into explosive praises to God as the beautifully adorned Loveworld Singers led the global audience in ultimate songs of praise to God. Singing along with the choir as they led in diverse Spirit-inspired melodies, the saints poured out their hearts to God in gratitude; extolling His name for all His goodness and wondrous works. ‘God of Heaven and Earth, ‘Oh wise God’, ‘Faithful and Just’ and other songs rendered, sparked up moments of sweet fellowship with the Lord.
Scriptures of praises to God were also read during the service. The first reading of the night from Isaiah 92:1-15 was taken by the esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi, Director Church Growth International while the second reading of the night from Psalms 33 was read by LoveWorld CEO, the esteemed Pastor Deola Phillips.
The special Praise Night climaxed with solemn prophecies from a member of the CEC, the highly esteemed Pastor T.T. Temisan, who professed that the praises of the saints have broken in pieces the evil forces in nations and kingdoms. “Suddenly obnoxious laws, ordinances, and decrees that have been in force will be overturned,” he remarked, instilling great faith in the global audience who plunged into great rejoicing at the hearing of such words.
