Netanyahu says He Faces no Legal Requirement to Leave Office as long as he Remains Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has denied the recent corruption allegations leveled against him, the allegations are combined with elections stalemate which are threatening his long hold on power. Lawyer to the Prime Minister however said they would argue at a pre-trial hearing against the corruption charges in court.
The Prime Minister will be provided with the last opportunity to make his case against indictment to attorney-general in the three graft charges against him, as sessions are scheduled to be held over four days.
Netanyahu, upon denial of the charges said that he faces no legal requirement to leave office if indicted as long as he remains the Prime Minister of the country.
