Election tribunal's ruling grants PDP's Atiku permission to inspect 2019 presidential election materials

Following the suit filled by the PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging results of the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria in which President Mohammadu Buhari of the APC was declared winner, the Presidential Elecction Tribunal has granted Atiku the permission to inspect the election materials used for the February 23 polls as requested. The Justice Abdul Aboki led tribunal also ordered INEC to make available documents and all electoral materials used to conduct the polls for the purpose of the inspection. The tribunal however refused the applicants request to scan forensic analysis of the election materials. The tribunal also refused issuing directives to INEC to make available all polling documents for forensic analysis as demanded by the appellant.
