Body Releases 144 Names for the Upcoming Polls

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released its final list of candidates eligible for the 2019 General Elections. The list contains a total of 144 candidates inclusive of the National Assembly, Presidential and State Assemblies. A total of 72 Presidential candidates and Vice-Presidential candidates are all expected to run in the forthcoming polls.
