President Assoumani Maintains that there is nothing to be afraid of
The President of Comoros, President Azali Assoumani has shrugged off claims by the opposition leaders of his plans to rig the forthcoming elections. President Assoumani said that there is nothing to be afraid of as over eleven candidates are running for the elections. Meanwhile an opposition leader, Mohamed Ali Solihi popularly known as Mamadou accused the President of attempting to rig the elections come march 24th. It would be recalled that the current President was elected into office in 2016 and is currently seeking re-election and is tipped by observers to win.
