More chaos ahead of the presidential elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo as opposition coalition leader, Martins Fayulu clashes with authorities as he sought to hold a rally in eastern DRC. According to media sources, three people were killed on Wednesday in clashes with police in Kalemie, a town on the western shore of Lake Tanganyika in DRC where Fayulu intended to hold a campaign rally. In a related development, it has been reported that there was fire outbreak in the electoral commission's building in Kinshasa, the capital city of DRC just 10 days before the presidential elections in the country. Thousands of voting machines and ballot papers to be used for the elections were destroyed by the inferno.
