DA, ANC Row Over Billboard Battle Takes a Legal Turn

IEC serves DA a lawyer's letter over DA's "ANC is Killing us" billboard

The electoral body in South Africa, the IEC, has served the Democratic Alliance party (DA) a lawyer's letter in view of a report received in which the ANC accused the DA of erecting a billboard with the caption "ANC is Killing us" and several names inscribed on the billboard. Responding to the served letter, the DA requested for clarity from the IEC on this matter before proceeding. On the other hand, the ANC laid there complain about the billboard to the IEC because they presumably dispute the hard truths contained on the billboard erected by the DA last week. Members of the public also reacted to the development as seen in the featured video.
